For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to how color and space shape the way we feel — how the right palette can transform a room, and how thoughtful design can turn a house into a home.

I grew up in Göteborg, Sweden, where my earliest design work began with helping classmates transform student housing into spaces that felt more personal, layered, and inviting. After moving to the U.S., I co-founded Kreatelier, a fabric and interior décor boutique in Providence, Rhode Island.

In 2020, I launched Pernilla Interiors to bring a color-forward, livable approach to clients seeking homes that feel both fresh and deeply personal. My work reflects a Scandinavian sensibility — thoughtful proportions, purposeful use of color, and a balance of simplicity and richness.

Collaboration is at the heart of my process. I listen carefully to understand your goals, lifestyle, and design perspective, then translate that into a home that feels distinctly yours — using fabrics, wallcoverings, furnishings, and unexpected details to bring it all together.

I divide my time between Oakland, California, and Providence, Rhode Island, working with clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and across New England.
